8 ability is fine for every non-caster class. Even in D:OS all my non-casters never needed more than 1 quickbar. With casters though it's a little tricky, caster can buff, debuff, heal, crowd control, and damage. And 8 really is not a lot when they have so much to do. Of course this is going to depend on how the game is designed.
